At Estetica, we make it no secret how much we love supporting Keep A Breast, and it means even more when our customers share that same passion. Recently, Jennifer Vincent from Wigs R You reached out to let us know how much she enjoys supporting KAB, and we jumped at the chance to learn more about her and what inspires her to give back.

What makes Jennifer’s story so special is that her participation in our October fundraiser didn’t stop when the month ended. Inspired by the cause, she decided to set up her own monthly donations to Keep A Breast, turning a one-time event into a year-round commitment. She not only joined in the fundraisershe took it a step further and made it personal. You can read the full interview below:

How long have you been an Estetica customer?

Not sure actually, several years.

How did you first hear about KAB?

I first heard of KAB through Estetica. When the fundraiser was going on last year (2024) I looked into it and was very impressed and wanted to be a part of it.

What makes KAB stand out to you as a nonprofit?

The work they do to support women facing breast cancer tugged at my heart. After my own breast cancer, my life was not the same. I knew that in my own community that I wanted to give back. Hence, why I have Wigs R You.

Why is KAB's mission important to you?

I am a breast cancer survivor and when I first heard of them through Estetica and before donating I went onto the website to look into it. I was moved by the support they give to the breast cancer community that I decided to set up monthly donations. I love the Dolly Parton Valentine and would love to be able to go to one someday! They are a worthy cause and I am proud to be a supporter.

The Dolly Parton Valentine is an annual Keep A Breast fundraiser tribute concert celebrating Nena Anderson’s (KAB’s Creative Director) cancerversary.

We're so happy that our fundraiser with Keep A Breast lit a spark in someone to get involved, and to love KAB as much as we do. We’re so grateful that Jennifer felt compelled to share her story with us, and hope to talk to even more people who want to make an impact!
