- To completely restyle your human hair wig or hair piece, we suggest taking it to your stylist. If you decide to restyle it yourself, please follow these guidelines:
- Place on a wig stand. Use standard or electric rollers or pin curls.
- Remove tangles with a wire brush or wide tooth comb.
- Pick up the hair and wind on a roller, smoothing the ends as you go.
- Use a medium setting with electric rollers or hair dryer.
- When blow drying, keep hair 12" from the hair dryer while circulating evenly and continuously. - Allow hair to cool before removing rollers or pin curls.
- Lightly brush or tease desired areas and spray with Estetica Designs Shape & Hold Wig Spray.
PLEASE NOTE:
At Estetica Designs we take great pride in the quality, design and craftsmanship of our human hair products. While our human hair products are treatable (colored, cut, etc.), treating human hair is a delicate process as the hair is “non-living”. Each human hair product can react differently to chemical processes (bleaching, perm, dyeing, relaxing, etc.) and it is strongly advised to do a strand test before proceeding with any chemical treatment. It is essential that any altering of a human hair product be done by a trained professional experienced in working with human hair wigs and human hair toppers. Estetica Designs is not responsible for the outcome or damaging of a human hair product when exposed to chemical processes. Once a wig or hair piece has been altered in any way, Estetica Designs cannot accept a return or honor an exchange.

- We recommend using Estetica Designs Revitalize & Shine Wig Mist.
STYLING HEAT DEFIANT FIBER:
- Heat Defiant fiber can withstand heat up to 320°F (160°C), however, we recommend working within 260°F – 280°F (120°C – 140°C).
- When using styling tools we recommend professional grade tools with digital temperature settings to control heat more accurately.
- Before applying heat, gently detangle hair with a wide tooth comb. Start at the bottom and gently comb hair in a downward motion, gradually moving up until you have combed all the hair. Never begin combing at the top or middle; it will damage and tangle hair.

- For curling, set your iron between 356°F – 392°F (180°C – 200°C). Do not go above 392°F (200°C), anything higher increases the chance of damaging the hair.
- Do not sleep on wet hair. It will mat and tangle up.
- Do not spray or put heavy pomade on synthetic hair products. This will dull and mat the hair.
